Privacy, Terms & Contact
This page brings together Note Jar's overview, privacy policy, terms of use, and contact details so you can understand how the app treats your notes, notebooks, and account.
Public notes do not show your real name or author profile.
Notebooks are shared only when you enable link or Public Library visibility.
Delete notes, notebooks, or request account deletion through the app.
Note Jar is a quiet place to write what you feel when you want to let something out, keep it close, or release it from your mind.
You can drop a note into a public anonymous jar or save it inside your own private notebook. Note Jar is designed without pressure, likes, follower counts, or turning feelings into a competition.
Public notes are designed to be anonymous or minimally identifiable. Private notebooks are for stories, memories, diary pages, or pages you want to care for in your own way.
When you drop a note into a public jar, it does not show your real name and is not attached to a public profile page.
You may choose light identity details such as an avatar or nickname, but these are display details for that note only, not a public profile, follower system, or public author history.
Notes saved inside private notebooks stay under your account. If you lock a notebook with a passcode, other users cannot open it through the normal app interface.
Note Jar should not be described as a system where the service provider can never read data unless full end-to-end encryption is implemented.
We may store data needed to provide the service, including account information, language and theme settings, notes and notebooks you create, notebook sharing status, basic usage details such as note count, notebook count, or Premium status, and technical data that helps the system stay secure and reliable.
We use this data to operate Note Jar, improve the experience, protect the service, and prevent misuse.
If you enable a notebook share link, embed, or Public Library visibility, the content you choose to share may be visible to others according to your settings. You can turn sharing off from the notebook settings.
You can delete notes, notebooks, or sharing settings from inside the app. You may also request account and related data deletion through the channels provided by the app.
Some data may remain temporarily in backups or technical logs where needed for system operation.
We may use cookies or analytics tools to improve the experience, diagnose system issues, and help keep the service secure.
We may review, hide, or remove reported content or content that may violate the terms of use to protect users and shared spaces.
Note Jar is not a medical or mental health counseling service. If you feel unsafe or may hurt yourself, contact someone you trust, a professional, or local emergency support immediately.
By using Note Jar, you agree to follow these terms. Please use the space with respect for yourself and others.
Public notes are for anonymously releasing feelings, not for shaming, attacking, or exposing other people. We may hide, remove, or limit notes that are reported or may make the shared space unsafe.
Private notebooks are your space, but if you enable a share link, embed, or Public Library visibility, you are responsible for the content published through that sharing. Review private information, images, and sensitive text before sharing.
You are responsible for your account, password, and login details. If you notice unusual activity, log out or change your password immediately.
We may limit, suspend, or close accounts that violate these terms or harm the security of the service or other users.
Some features may be part of a Premium plan, such as additional notebooks, notebook locks, exports, advanced customization, or more detailed sharing controls.
Pricing, entitlements, and Premium terms may change and will be shown before you subscribe or pay.
We may improve, change, add, or remove features to keep Note Jar safe, stable, and useful.
Note Jar is a writing and feeling-storage tool, not medical, legal, or professional advice. Users should use judgment when writing, sharing, and reading content inside the app.
If you subscribe to Premium features, payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or other payment providers. Note Jar does not store card details directly.
Pricing, billing periods, renewal, or cancellation information will be shown before you subscribe or pay.
